Presentation!  The greatest one star restaurant in the quadrant our story revolves around a bunch of runaway cyborgs who steal a restaurant ship to escape human rule.  However, they forget to turn off the beacon and end up getting customers.  To avoid detection, they use their own meat to create meals to keep the customers happy.  Engineer becomes consumed with the idea of pleasing these customers, and the story quickly turns bloody as she ransacks the other cyborgs for more meat for these meals, eager for human approval. We looked at three different aesthetic design concepts. Really useful feedback: Told to look at dark humor type movies Stepford Wives Shawn of the dead Zombieland Ex Machina Look at other retro aesthetic for the retro theme like a Kiwiana twist (Milkbars) To do before next meet up: Bridget: Script for trailer/storyboard Dani: Start playing around in after effects - do some stuff

Notes from class during group discussions Identity - Human Identity & Technology, trans-humanism. Organic vs. inorganic - What is exchanged for new technology. Money & Power - Access to technology is hindered by the amount of money & power. Logical vs. empathy - we as humans fear the idea of logical decisions i.e saving a child. Empathy vs. Logical decision making. Interesting Discussions: why is everything blue and orange. As humans who see in colour, certain colour combinations are attractive to our eyes, and this is most often the case when two colours sit opposite each other on the colour spectrum. Since human skin tones are generally in the orange spectrum, it can be aesthetically pleasing to compliment this with the colour that sits opposite that, which is, well… It’s blue. Just in case you didn’t. It’s blue. Cite: https://www.atomcreativemedia.com/blog/entertainment/why-do-we-see-so-much-orange-and-blue-in-movies/ Why give cyb
